Hope you will visit the Education Technology Clearinghouse from the Florida Center for Educational  Technology.   http://etc.usf.edu/  This is an excellent example of a clearinghouse.
They have collected a terrific amount of valuable sources. (clip art, lesson plans, maps and MORE!)
